By Anthony This is for everyone who gave this quad a bad review because the charge does not last more then five minutes or less. I purchased this dirt quad for my 8-year-old son and like some of you I was quite disappointed with the quad's charge longevity. The quad did not last five minutes before my son was wheeling it back into the garage for a charge, and it was brand new! At first I thought like the rest of you who experienced this same problem, "It was just an expensive piece of junk". But I noticed when the battery went dead and we put it on charge the light on the charger would go from red to green in just a few minutes, a lot less then the recommended charge time. So I figured maybe the charger was no good. Luckily we also own the Razor go-cart, which uses the same charger and always worked great. So I swapped out the chargers but the go-cart still charged fine And the charger on the quad still turned from red to green in just a few minutes and still died out fast. So I went to Razor's website and contacted their customer support. They told me the problem sounded like a bad battery and explained that even though the quad is brand new it may have been sitting around in a warehouse for months, even years with the battery connected. If the battery goes a long time connected to the ATV and never on charge, the battery will eventually go bad. The battery should always stay on charge even when not used for long periods of time. They were right! They sent me a brand new battery free of charge, after I sent them a copy of my receipt proving I bought the quad within the warranty period, less then 90 days. As soon as we receive the battery, I switched it off and all I can say is "what a change!" The quad is strong as can be and I can honestly say that even running up and down hills on rocky terrain dirt quad goods well past 30 minutes, as long as my son keeps And it still shows a full charge on power indicator when he is finished. It's like a totally different machine from the one we started out with. So to anyone here who think they got stuck with a piece of junk, go directly to the Razor before your 90 day warranty expires and submit your complaint. They have an excellent customer service and will contact you within 24 hours, you will not be sorry. I am very pleased with the Razor and even more pleased whenever I see my son's face is now on his new dirt quad. 35 of 36 people found the following review helpful. Impressed by Jan Klier, I've seen my share of toys, and was favorably impressed with the quality of this product. It has a solid frame, suspension, tire pressure regularly I am not afraid that will break after a few days of using it, since it got the rough use of children in this age. I took it for a short test in itself, and the engine was strong enough to move upwards and adults. The company takes a little longer and you will be home to receive it. But it takes two people to the box it comes in the elevator, it's worth the convenience of home delivery. I think the only design change I might see is a reverse mode. The motor controller allows only forward, as if you were confined space turnaround can be difficult. But it is a smaller problem generally. Update (28.05): This ATV has seen a lot of use over the past few weeks, including many slide-wheel stunts, etc. After a very heavy law it does not take more of a blown fuse and control. The only thing that is very useful is that Razor will actually sell repair parts for reasonable prices on their site, more can be said about many other products, so if it is break, n ' is not necessarily dedicated to the trash pile. 26 of 27 people found this review helpful.
