The Jeep Hurricane can off-road into areas that other cars can't handle. View larger. Just Like a Real Jeep! Designed for children ages three to about six (65-pound maximum weight per passenger), the Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane looks just like a real Jeep! And it operates with a real steering wheel and a foot pedal. Powered by a rechargeable 12-volt battery, the Jeep can drive up to five miles per hour. The car is designed to travel at a max of 2.5 MPH at first, when your child is a beginning driver. When he or she becomes more experienced, just remove the safety mechanism to reach maximum speed! The vehicle also features a specially designed safety braking system, which automatically stops the vehicle when the foot is removed from the pedal. The jeep can also go in reverse at up to 2.5 MPH. The jeep includes features such as a simulated navigation system, cool sound effects, a digital clock, and a working "fuel gauge" that monitors battery level. Ride in Style! The jeep features lots of cool details that will have your child riding in style. He or she can pop some juice in the cup holder, turn up the real, working FM radio, and drive off to exciting adventures! There's room for a friend in the passenger seat, too (up to 65 pounds). The Jeep Hurricane also features the Power Wheels Ultimate Terrain Traction. With this advanced tire package, the truck can "off-road" into areas that others can't handle: It can drive over thick, wet grass, muddy areas, gravel, and other small backyard obstacles such as tree roots and garden hoses. This vehicle requires a 12-volt rechargeable battery designed specifically for this toy, which is included with your purchase, as well as a battery charger. It also requires four C batteries (not included) to operate the FM radio. This Power Wheels toy is covered by a limited 1-year "Bumper-to-Bumper" warranty from the manufacturer. What's in the Box 1 Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane ride-on toy, 12-volt rechargeable battery, and battery charger. Hard surfaces, grass, and rugged terrain are no match for the Jeep® Hurricane! Kids can adventure through ruts, wet grass, gravel, mud, and more! Jeep's ultimate terrain traction won't get stuck where the others do. Riders can listen to cool tunes of their choice on a real FM radio, and explore "uncharted" territory with a simulated navigational system. This cool Power Wheels® ride-on features a battery charge indicator, cup holder, roomy secret storage compartment and adjustable seat. 12-volts of battery power for two speeds forward (2.5 and 5 mph, max.); plus reverse, with a high-speed lock-out for beginners and Power Lock® Brake System.

Because of the better handling and wheel design (not slanted), the Jeep is remarkably agile. What my kid has done so far: - Taken the Jeep off road on bike trails - Drive through iced dirt - Drive through 1/2" mud - Drive through 1/4" water puddles - Pull passengers on a tied on Wagon (We almost died laughing) I agree with the previous reviewer that the car is a bit big for a sub 3 year old, but my younger one (2.5) loves being the passenger. 36 of 41 people found the following review helpful. Not worth the extra money.. By Kerry J. Manning This is my third Power Wheel purchase. My almost 5 year old had a "regular" size Power Wheel Jeep and he loved it. However it doesn't have enough power or traction to get through all terrain. We upgraded to this one. I wasn't very impressed! It doesn't have anymore power than his regular sized jeep. It still can't go up hills and I don't notice it doing anything more than his other. It does have a radio and a clock and does some other cool stuff but performace wise....not any different than the regular jeeps. Why speed more money? You can buy two on the others for the price of this one. 15 of 15 people found the following review helpful. Large Ride on Jeep.... By Roy Graber We purchased this for our 4-yr old son back in Christmas (local closeout too low $$$ to print), and recently gave it to him for his birthday. It took me 2 hours to build it, and I couldn't believe the size of it. Our neighbor has a smaller one and this thing dwarfs it! For the first 3 days we left the speed lock in place so it only went 2.5 mph. The brakes work automatically upon releasing the gas pedal. After removing the speed lock it goes 5mph, and is very agile. It does require 14hrs of charging, but probably lasts a couple of hours on that charge. Overall we are very happy, my son as well by the smiles on his face. Oh yeah, you will need a third garage for this LARGE jeep! See all 19 customer reviews...

Two thumbs down By Elizabeth Byrne I must say, when I found this toy on huge discount at my local retailer, I was optimistic that my son would be thrilled with a ride on toy. When he saw it on his birthday he was excited at first, but when he tried it out, the happiness soon vanished and turned into tears. The truck will NOT move on grassy or uneven ground and don't even think of trying to take this thing on any kind of trail or fun setting. This is strictly an indoor toy. If you have a big basement, this would still be lame, but at least you could hide it under the stairs fairly easily. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. false advertiving By Teresa Etheridge This toy was suppose to come with a remote control acording to all the advertisments but it showed up with out one. While trying to get the remote I tried calling the numbers on the paper work and all I can get is the numbers are disconnected and emails are not returned. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. remote full size car By Mary Iliev it's really cool and versatile, but unfortunately the battery that came with it stinks. we would charge it and aside from the first time we used it (it lasted a while) it only seems to go 10 min after charging, hopefully the new battery will work better. Most helpful customer reviews 20 of 20 people found the following review helpful. My little girl's first car. Too bad it's a Ford. ;-) By Steven A. Godun Before I start: If you decide to purchase this toy, buy it from another vendor. At the time of this writing Amazon is selling it for nearly twice what virtually every other vendor is selling it for. A little shopping around will greatly increase your savings! With that in mind... The Power Wheels toys are all largely the same in dimensions and capabilities, differing largely on simple aesthetics. Whether it's a Mustang or a Jeep or an Escalade or whatever, they all largely do the same thing in the same manner so really this review could apply to just about all Power Wheels toys. In a nutshell, this one arrives in BRIGHT Barbie Pink (naturally) and features two forward speeds, one reverse speed, a horn, a radio, and a battery life indicator. Two bucket seats will easily accomodate two toddler-sized children without cramping or elbow fighting. My two year old daughter is BARELY able to reach the pedal; although I know it's not sanctioned by Fisher-Price, I velcro'ed a 2" thick wooden block to the top of the pedal which allows my daughter to reach it more easily. Assembly isn't terribly difficult but does require a bit of direction-following. As so many things are, "some assembly is required." Armed with a Philips-head screwdriver, a comfortable workspace and a little help from your fellow parent it shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes to fully assemble the vehicle. IMPORTANT TIP FOR PARENTS: Even if you're planning to assemble the car after you present it to your child, remove the battery and charger from the box and charge it up overnight so that, when the car is fully assembled, your child can immediately drive it. The car has two forward speeds and one reverse, selected by a console-mounted shift lever. Out of the box the "high" forward speed is locked out. Mommy or daddy needs to do a little 'under the hood' tinkering to remove the lock-out, a process which takes less than a minute to complete. This is done as a safety measure, particularly for younger children who may get scared over the faster speed or simply are still learning how to control the car. In "low" speed the car moves at a casual walking pace, while in "high" speed it's more like a brisk walking pace. Reverse is in "low" speed but, of course, backwards. I found that, even at "low" speed, the car has a tendency to burn rubber (plastic) when only my daughter is in it. On simple asphalt the rear tires easily spin three or four times before gaining traction. On grass it gains traction a lot sooner but there's still at least one wheel spin. With a second child in the car this traction issue goes away; since my daughter is a year under Fisher-Price's recommended minimum age I'm sure this issue will resolve itself once my daughter grows and gains weight. It's important to note that, like all Power Wheels, the motor is either fully-on or fully-off. It's not like a real car where you can feather the throttle for variable speed. Either the car is in full motion (traction and gravity notwithstanding), or it's not. Steering is limited with a very wide turning radius - about 18 feet, which is almost as wide as a two-car driveway. It is therefore fairly certain that your child will, at some point, run into a situation where he/she will need to either learn to drive in reverse or get out of the car and push it until it faces the right direction. The body is reasonably stable so far as these toys go. The hood opens to reveal the battery; the doors and trunk lid do NOT open. My daughter had a little bit of difficulty climbing into and out of the car; a three year old will likely not have such difficulty. I expected the doors to remain closed to provide some safety to the child but I was surprised to find that the trunk didn't provide even a little bit of storage space for, say, a box of chalk or a small snack. The hard

By PACIFEK-00 First, I want to say that I was very hesitant about purchasing this train, but I saw it on sale and thought I would take a chance. I'm glad I did, the train is very stable on the tracks. It makes alot of fun sounds that are very realistic. I have 3 children with the oldest at 60lbs and my other 2 are no more than 45lbs. All 3 rode the train and it was not a difference because the weight limit is 44bls. I think the track is rathter big and I'm pleased with this purchase. The seat is very roomy and your little one can tuck a teddy bear or a favorite toy in the extra car. NICE! MY KIDZ LUV IT. Also, I research alot of Trains before I purchase this one, the Sante Fe train was too small and a little flimsy! I wanted to get Thomas the Train but it was very hard to find and a little too pricey for me. So once I saw this one, but could not find one review on it on the internet.... I just decided to take a chance. I'm just glad I did.. My kids are having a blast. I hope this review help you if you are looking into buying a train for your little one. I paid 99.00 (jcpenney w/ discount code) it's was well worth it. 13 of 15 people found the following review helpful. Good value By R. Stevens Compared to the Peg-Perego trains this one is easier to use and more durable, not to mention about half the price. The downside is that there is no expansion tracks, so the circle of track you get is all there is. The kids love it. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Waste of money - DON'T BUY this CHEAP IMPORT By Mom in Bay Area We had high hopes for this toy. It worked about 10 times but suddenly just stopped working one day. We called Little Tikes but they said they couldn't help us since it was a National Products toy. National Products licensed the Little Tikes brand and used it to promote their own product. National Products is a company that manufactures and sells crappy Chinese products. They seem to have a hard time returning calls and email, first had us run around replacing fuses on the battery, then testing the battery at Radio Shack for a couple weeks. None of this worked. Then they said that the warranty was only valid for defective parts. They said we could ship in the engine at a cost of about $30 and the engine would cost about $50. The return shipping would cost another $30 at least, making the repair more expensive than the actual retail price of the train itself. They cooked up this scheme after first telling us they could send us the engine but we would have to open up the train and then SOLDER (with a blowtorch!) the engine to the train!! I'm a housewife. Where in the hay would I find a blowtorch and SOLDER a part? This is my warning to you all: do not buy this product. Little Tikes will not stand by this product even though their name is on it. Someone made money by selling me this piece of junk and I and my two year-old son are the victims who are left empty-handed. See all 24 customer reviews...

By Emmanuelle Paris I purchased this toy for my son after reading the reviews and seeing the video! When i received the car it was very easy to put together but i quickly realized that there was no remote.... I called the company and they said that Amazon should not be showing that video because that model with the remote was not released in the US so now i'm stuck with a car that will have to be parked until my son's feet reach the peddles!!!! Also the stickers that come with it are extremely cheap (paper) in quality so im sure they will be pealing off in no time...In short, Amazon please remove the video cause it is really false advertising. Buffington We purchased this car for our 3-year-old son less than 1 month ago. It's been a favorite toy with him and his playdate friends, and the battery seemed to hold up well for the first couple of days. But as of now, every charge seems to last about 10 minutes, after which the car doesn't have the power to ascend the slightest incline. It will only operate downhill. We're disappointed. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. the mini-mini cooper! By happyhappy I bought this for my grandson and he absolutely loves it! Exceeded our expectations By Jason Pierce We purchased this for our 7 year old and 4 year old so they could ride in it together. We chose this Power Wheels vehicle over the Power Wheels Cadillac Escalade because it has a truck bed, and we thought the kids would enjoy putting their toys in there and collecting rocks, etc. on their off-road adventures. SHIPPING As a Prime member, when I order items from Amazon that say "Ships from and sold by Amazon" (as this item did) I expect prompt delivery without any hassle. And, for the past 2 years I've never been let down. Unfortunately, that was not the case with this order. It was supposed to be a 2-day delivery, and it ended up taking 20-days. Amazon gave us a $10.00 credit because it didn't ship on time, and I appreciate the gesture, but that didn't make-up for the hassle. The carrier that Amazon chose to use was called ABF, and it appears they were the ones that dropped the ball. So, just a heads up, if Amazon is still using ABF to ship this item you may want to buy it locally, if you don't want to wait a month. ASSEMBLY The truck was very easy to assemble. A Phillips Screwdriver was the only tool that was required and everything fit together without having to be forced or modified. The directions were accurate and very easy to understand. The instructions recommend two people during assembly because you have to flip the truck over for certain steps, but I managed to do it by myself without any trouble. Assembly time was about an hour, including placement of the decals. FIRST IMPRESSIONS The truck is beautiful, with a fully functioning FM radio that gets good reception and has plenty of volume (requires 4 C batteries). The design is very sturdy and holds up to both our kids jumping in and out of it, placing rather heavy items in the truck bed, and standing on the running boards to get in/out. The battery is easy to access and the connector fits snugly but isn't difficult to remove. TRACTION I'm really impressed with the traction this truck gets. The truck comes with three gears: Reverse, Low, and High. Reverse and Low use one rear wheel to propel the vehicle, and this actually works very well on flat terrain (grass, cement, asphalt) and on very gentle slopes. But the vehicle really shines in High gear (which Fisher-Price calls Monster Traction), when both rear wheels are used for propulsion. The truck is virtually unstoppable in High gear. It goes up very steep hills, over rough terrain, gravel, cement, asphalt, anything we throw at it, and it does so with both kids riding in it and with toys in the truck bed. BATTERY LIFE We charged the battery, per the instructions, for 18-hours before we used it - and that charge lasted longer than any of us thought it would. With both kids riding in it in High gear, up and down hills, through gravel, grass, sidewalks, and asphalt, the charge lasted for over an hour. We purchased an extra battery so our kids could enjoy extended playtime. And I'm glad we did, because when the battery finally did run low, we simply swapped it out with the new one and they were off and running for another hour of off-road fun! MOTORS In Reverse and Low gear, the vehicle moves at a nice walking pace of about 2.5 MPH. In High gear, it moves very quickly at 5 MPH, and you'll have to jog to keep up. The motors perform without any issues when used as recommended (i.e., flat terrain), but can overheat if you're climbing hills (not slopes, hills) without any breaks in-between. When the motors overheat the truck will simply stop working. This is different from the battery dying, where the truck will gradually get slower and slower until it can't move any longer. When the motors overheat, the truck simply stops. No warning, nothing. This isn't really unexpected, considering the strain that is placed on them in said conditions, but just something you should be prepared for if you are going to

It is a slow vehicle and is better on the drive way. It is for Toddlers, My 7 year look silly on it. I would absolutly recommend for any toddler. I have not found any flaws with it yet. It arrived in a large box and only took about 30 to put together (I did it with the help of my 7 year old). The battery takes 18 hours to charge the first time so there is a wait before you can play. Have fun and I would give it two big thumbs up. See all 1 customer reviews...

It is easy to learn to drive for a 3 year old. She gives her 1 year old brother rides in it, and he sits still while his big sister drives. She has pretty much mastered the stearing. The radio is great too. It comes in clear, and has the ability to scan for stations. It has velcro, pretend, seatbelts which is a fantastic learning tool. The children know they can't drive/ride in it until the seatbelts are fastened. Everything works wonderfully. We have a large, grassy, yard. It has a lot of bumps in it, and the Barbie Jammin' Jeep has no problems moving about in it. I highly recommend this product, especially for a 3 year old. We are undecided who has more fun...the children driving/riding in it, or the grandparents watching it. 25 of 25 people found the following review helpful. Only needs one option By Raymond Depiano I bought this for 3 year old Olivia....it was her 3rd birthday. The Jeep took me 2 1/2 hours to but together......as I put it together I could see that this is a solid and tough toy!! The only thing that is wrong with this Jeep... the plastic tires....They have a tough time getting any traction on other than smooth surfaces. I went on ebay and bought the traction grips for the Power Wheel line......what u get is a old sliced rubber tire tube, that u stretch over the plastic tires of the Barbie Jeep. THEN THE JEEP WILL CLIMB A MOUNTAIN!!!! Buy this Jeep!!!! But add some sort of rubber to the slick plastic tires!!... 17 of 19 people found the following review helpful. Power Wheels Barbie Jammin Jeep By Alissa S. Gregg My daughter was very excited to get this from "Santa," my son also for that matter. Unfortunately when we took the jeep outside for the first time it definately had some difficulty going up small hills that did not have a steap grade by any means. It made a grinding noise as if the gears were stripped. We are in the process of sending the jeep back and plan to buy another. I don't know if it was just one of those things and we received a bad one or not. We will definately try again because my kids definately loved the toy. Our daughter is 4 and our son is 18 months. Both enjoyed riding, listening to the music and just sitting in it watching TV on Christmas day. I have had other ride ons from this manuafacturer and have not had any trouble so I think it was just a fluke that this happened and once we get a replacement things will be great! It is great! The product description was accurate. My daughter practically spent the entire day in this car the day after it was assembled. And all of our adult friends who have seen the car are in awe of the functionality of the gadgets i.e. the lights, horns and especially the radio, not to mention the cool design of the car. Everything seems to be in fine working order thus far except for the left side of the "engine" cover appears to be broken but it seems minor and does not interfere with the functioning of the car. I was a little surprised at the "kick" the car has even on low speed but my daughter adjusted to it quite well after the first few seconds. The FM radio tuner is great ... very clear and surprisingly loud, I haven't figured out where the speakers are located yet. Assembly time was about 20-25mins. We were on the move after 24hr charging the battery! So far so good! 11 of 12 people found the following review helpful. it looks nicer in the picture By Roseann Hamdi Well to clear things up the car is made of plastic and so are the seats. The radio works ok with a bit of static, no biggie. Thought that would be better too. The car has a metallic look to it in the pic but in fact its not. I bought this for my 3yr old twin's birthday. (boy and girl) Personally I feel the car has too much kick even set at the low speed of 2.5 mph. You definately need plenty of space to drive around with this too! It is a spacious 2 seater. The tires are plastic with rubber traction. The hood has no hindges and the trunk is the same. The doors do not open either. The headlights are nice. I do feel that this car is a bit overpriced. But you can be the judge of that. I would recommend the car at a fair price. Which I know i cannot list here. The horn sound is very low. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Excellent Item By S. Kanazeh This car is exactly as described. The assembly consists of putting on the wheels. That's all. Then charge it, and it lasts for days. It is perfect for our three year old and her younger brother together. I would definitely recommend it. See all 11 customer reviews...

By bens mom Tonight we went to a chain toy retailer and looked at this toy with my 14.5 month old son. I am buying it for him for Christmas but wanted to see what it was like in person and if he would like it, as I know he won't remember it come Christmas. It seemed really sturdy. He is a good walker. He was able to get in and out of it with ease. He loved pushing the button on the steering wheel that makes Lightning McQueen noises. It is about half the size of a normal Power Wheels toy. I think it will be ok to play indoors with until it gets warm enough outside, and honestly I think it rivals the Cozy Coupe just motorized. There is no gas petal, just a stop and go button on the steering wheel. The toy store had this "gas button" disabled. So therefore I can't vouch for speed, etc. Grandma said if I didn't buy it for him she would lol because he LOVED it. : ) UPDATE TO REVIEW AFTER 1 MONTH OF USE: Well, its been about a month since Christmas and it took my son a little time to warm up to it.. but now he is happily cruising around the house in it from time to time. At first he was scared/startled by the movement. after a while.. he loves it. I don't think it goes too fast. I have to walk along side him though and help him steer it at this point because he keeps smacking into furniture though. I don't think this would be such an issue outside. We like this toy. I did but it on amazon, and I felt the price was right and it arrived quickly. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Pretty cool but could be better By Lijah's Mom Bought for my 20mth old son...really cute...good speed, not too fast but not so slow that it's boring...only complaint it doesn't go in reverse! So once my little guys hits a road block we have to manual turn the car around...annoying...also you have to unscrew the seat "each time" to remove battery to charge...wouldve been better if you could just plug it up externally somehow..but overall he likes it...no regrets 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Almost a 5 Star. By HRO The only issue that prevent me for rating this toy as a 5 star was that the hand wheel can be removed from its position with out any resistance, so for a child its quite a problem. Overall its an exelent toy! Go for it! See all 16 customer reviews...

Dimova I always wanted one when I was a kid, so naturally when looking for the perfect present for my kids, I started looking for a car. We found a jeep version by the dumpster and easily fixed it, only problem was it was a one seater. Seeing that the kids enjoyed it a lot, we bought the two seater smart with long lasting battery. I love that it comes without decals. I hate stickers on stuff! We put just the headlight stickers and it looks very nice and clean. The red is a great color, very happy and unisex. My kids, age 2 and 4, fit nicely in the car and though the doors don't open, it's easy to climb in and out. The two speed and reverse function nicely and we speedwalk around the park after the kids to have a pleasant evening out without feeling like we're dragging anyone along. Downside I'd say is lack of trunk (kids love hauling stuff) and plastic tires. Would it kill them to put rubber tires on these things? It's like the cheap big-wheel trikes that have slippery plastic wheels that skid all over the place. We're looking for some real mini tired we can retro-fit. Also, I'm surprised by how well my 2 year old and 4 year old handle this car. Hairpin turns, backing out of tight spots...I couldn't drive that well when I was 18. $199 isn't a bad price either. I'm so glad we got this awesome little car. viva amazon! 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Awesome but size prob By Katty Lee I bought this for my 4 yr old son. He loves it but he is almost too tall for it his knees press the dashboard, when we thought about giving it to my friends daughter who is smaller we realized she didn't weigh enough to keep from spinning the tires. so apparantly u have to have a short but heavy child to be able to completely enjoy this toy. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Very disapointed in the quality of this car! By Mrs. Russell I bought my 3 year old son this car and it was great fun for awhile. he quickly learned to drive it becuase it is so easy to handle. It was also super easy to assemble! Now here comes my reasoning for why I don't like it. The cheap plastic parts do not stand up well to rough and tumble children! I reccently realized that the little piece of plastic that is supposed to hold the metal rod that attaches the steering wheel is broken. It still steers, but you can pull the sterring wheel right off the car now. I had a similar problem with a four wheeler we bought for him a while back. Little tiny thin peices of plastic can not be excpected to hold metal parts onto a car! Then today I discover that the back wheels are broken. We have had this car for less than 2 months, but the hollow plastic wheels already have big holes in them and will have to be replaced! Also, their customer service is a joke. It is hard to get a real person on the phone and there is no where on the site where you can just e-mail them. It is really frustrating! So to summarize-- this car is fun and easy to assemble, but like most toys I have found from this company are built very cheap and because of this will require a lot of up keep that you will have to likely figure out on your own, because the company is not helpful! Most helpful customer reviews 33 of 35 people found the following review helpful. Good value, "monster traction" works well By Francis Wright III We bought this for our 5 year old son for Christmas. Previously he has been driving around a "Power Wheels" Jeep that was my daughter's until she outgrew it, so we can give you a head-to-head comparison between the two. The F150 is quite a bit bigger than the Jeep, it came in a HUGE box! It is wider, taller and longer; and has much more clearance underneath. There is some assembly involved as well as applying of decals, but the instructions are good and the assembly is nothing complicated. I haven't seen this mentioned before in the reviews, but the "Monster Traction" feature comes by way of a separate electric motor driving each rear wheel (2 motors total). Typical Power Wheels have a single electric motor driving one rear wheel while the other rear wheel free-wheels. The Monster Traction definitely works, the Jeep gets stuck in certain places in our yard (particularly on the grade changes between pavement and grass) while the F150 easily breezes across those same areas. But here's something you need to know, if you install the low speed lockout on a Monster Traction vehicle, it no longer has Monster Traction! Only the right rear wheel is active at low speed and in reverse. As a result, it gets stuck on all but the most solid terrain in low speed or in reverse. In reading some of the complaints about traction here I'm guessing this is due to low speed running. You've got to keep it on high to take advantage of the Monster Traction driving both rear wheels. Other comments- the construction is very robust like all F-P Power Wheels vehicles, it'll no doubt last a long time. The radio is a neat feature for the kids to play with. Reception isn't fantastic, but they like it just fine. The F150 is nicely finished out and looks close enough to the real thing to make our son feel like he's driving a vehicle rather than riding on a toy. I rate this as an excellent purchase for the money and fully expect it to last many years just as the Jeep has. 19 of 20 people found the following review helpful. Truckin FUN By CactusJack We bought this for our 3-year-old daughter for her 3rd birthday. She simply loves it!!! I had started researching ride-on toys when she was 2 and was torn between a few different models (fisher Price and Perego) and after reading reviews and going to the stores to see them in person we settled on this model - It has been by far an EXCELLENT choice. Assembly was a breeze and took about 30 minutes (not including sticker placement). It is built rather solidly and only required a screwdriver. Of course though, I believe i used a mallet to tap on an item or two. The seat is adjustable to accommodate your child as they grow and it even has fake little seatbealts (velco) to plant the seed of safety at an early age. Not only does my daughter put it on everytime she gets in the truck, but she also buckles in her stuffed animals who always accompany her for the ride. It has a working tailgate and area (bed) for her to put extra stuffed animals, toys, (our cat) and anything else she decides to put back there. we have about an acre of land (bermuda grass) and the truck has done well over the entire yard (our yard is mostly flat). As mentioned by another reviewer, in low speed we noticed an area or two where it had problems going from the grass to the driveway, but in high gear nothing has stopped it yet. We were first worried that perhaps after getting our daughter this truck she wouldn't want to ride her tricycle or big wheeel anymore - it has not been the case. She actually takes all three out of our shed, parks them in the driveway and switches between them as she loses interest. Needless to say, we have spent hours outside watching her go from one to the other on her riding/driving adventures:-) The raido actually works rather well and she loves changing the station trying to

He was a little young for it, but no big deal. He loved sitting in it while we pushed the button for him to go. Then he learned how to do that himself, but not steer. Once he got both down pack, watch out! He loved it then, but at 3, loves it even more! Daddy works at a fire station, so we keep it there to use while we're visiting. We will ride all over the station, both inside and out (keeping away from the fire trucks of course!). There is also a 5 yr old that visits his daddy and uses it, so it goes beyond the just 36 months it stated in the description. I love how he can get in and out very easily, doesn't go too fast for him to control and it's VERY durable!!!!! He's hit the wall sooooo many times with it and even off one step to another floor by accident and is hasn't broke, cracked or even shown much wear after owning this for 2 yrs now. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A Big Hit! By Arizona Mom Okay, I am going to give a review based on the actual product and not the price of it! We got this for my youngest son for his 1st birthday last August. He loved riding around the backyard with his 5 year old brother in the Escalade Power Wheels we owned but he was to small to drive it himself. This fire engine was perfect since it has a button on the steering wheel to power it rather than a floor pedal. It took him just a few seconds to figure out how to make it go and he has been having a blast with it ever since. We have had it for nearly a year now and he still plays with it almost every day. I can see us getting at least another year worth of use out of it before we upgrade him to one of the larger Power Wheels models. This is the third Power Wheels vehicle we have owned. We also have the F150. All three have been great. They are very durable and all the kids love them. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Nana's present By Nana I bought this for my 17 month old grandson somewhat expecting he'd "grow into it" but to my delight he instinctively knew how to use it. He loves it! Great fun! He hopped on this thing and after a few times of riding it was done with 2.5mph and all over the 5mph speed. He has run this thing in the backyard, at the grandparents house on 10 acres with plenty of hills and it has performed flawlessly! It can't make it up all the hills but it does a pretty good job. He still rides this now that he is 5 (we are looking to upgrade him to something with working suspension) and I recently carved out a little offroad track for him to ride on in the backyard that puts this thing through its paces. Bumps, dips, hills and inclines, this thing manages to do it even when we add some water and make it muddy. It hardly ever gets stuck unless the dirt is very loose or the incline is too steep (one would be surprised at how steep of a hill this thing can actually climb). We are still on the original battery as well, it doesn't last as long as it did at first, mainly because it is being used a lot harder than at the beginning of its life, but it still goes for about 25-30 minutes. We have absolutely no regrets about this vehicle and would definitely recommend it!! 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. awesome atv By Michael Conrad very satisfied with this atv. runs great, looks great, durable, and fun! my son will not get off of it. easily the best money i have ever spent to entertain a child. i highly recommend spending the extra money on this. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Love it! By T. Hurley Got this for my 3 year old. He loves it! Battery lasts a long time. I have found that when charging batteries, you cant let them charge longer than the suggested amount of time. It does seem to effect the life length of the battery. I got an extra one so that we have a back up after all day rides... ; ) See all 6 customer reviews...

One Girls and One Boys. We were absolutely amazed at how cool these Hummers actually looks. It does require some assembly... and patience, but overall, well worth it to see the youngsters riding around in these stylish cruisers. This is the 6v versions of the Hummer and is only recomended for ages 1.5 to 4 years of age. These are more of an entry level riding toy and generally are made as a single seater/rider. If you want a larger riding toy, then you will want the 12v version, which is larger and will ride two children, up to 6 years of age. With a max cruising speed of 5 mph. Although the battery has a charge, it is recommended that you charge the battery for a full 18 hours before using. So plan ahead, before presenting this as a gift to the little one. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful. It is very tiny - beware! Cute as a button but small By Southern Magnolia We knew when the box came to the door that this wouldn't work for our child. The dimensions match many of the other run-abouts, but in reality I do not think that a child over 3 would be comfortable in it. In fact, the box was so small that when we looked at it, we thought we had received the wrong item. It looks like something that should be a foot-on-the-floor ride-ON not IN. Just know that the old Hummer run-about was substantially larger. It seated 2 children. If you are expecting something near that size, this IS NOT. It is super cute and would work (in my opinion) for ages 2 to 4. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. H2 Hummer By jean kowalchuk This ride-on toy is very slow and doesn't corner well. My son has a peg perego tractor that was similar in price and is a much better product. My daughter is just 2 so the Hummer is fine for now, but suspect that it will not be used for very long.

My granddaughters loved it! Lots of work putting it together but probably not much different than most ride ons. They have only used it indoors due to weather conditions, but can't wait to get it outside and cruise! Large enough to hold my 5 year old and 2 year old granddaughters. I am happy with my purchase. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Stopped working after 6 months.... By B. Marz We bought this for our daughters 2nd birthday in December/2010. The radio stopped working after a few weeks, upsetting but not a big deal. Now the car wont go forward. Needless to say, we regret getting this brand, we have purchased power wheels in the past for our other children with absolutely no problems I dont recommend this jeep to anyone. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. toddler fun By eclipse18jm My 3 1/2yr old loves this jeep!!! All he has to do is press down to pedal to go, and the button on the tank switches it from F to R. It took him only a few hours on Xmas morning to have it mastered. Good price for a 1st powerwheels. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. A Rockin' Motorcycle By D. Sausville I got this for my grandson for Christmas. He loves motorcycles and, when he opened this, he was ecstatic. He is 2 years old and fits on it just fine (although he is a little big for his age). However (and I have heard this from others) he is still a little afraid of pressing on the pedal to make it go. Perhaps he is so used to pushing himself along or because it does kind of jump quickly when he presses down on the pedal. He is getting used to it and it is the first thing he does every morning since Christmas - sometimes at 4:30 AM!! The decals that come with it make it look even cooler It appears to be very sturdy as well. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Good for first Power-ride on By loves toe sox We recieved this "bike" as a gift when my son was 16 months old. He immediately took to it but was yet too young to steer or switch the bike from forward motion to reverse and vice versa. He was able to operate the footpedal, which I like vs a handle bar accelerator. It is well built and the batteries stay charge for a long time. He is now 2 1/2 and still love it, especially since he can steer and change the motion of the bike. Its a got a low center of gravity and very wide rear wheel base so its very stable. Very handsome looking bike. I like that it goes a bit slower then other ride-ons so its safer for kids in the 18m- 32 mth age bracket, which is what this bike is good for. My only complaint is the plastic wheels, they have very little traction on concrete or grass Otherwise, its a great toy all around, we liked it so much we bought one for our godchild. Finally a toy vehicle that won't disappoint By Kraziken I recently started to look into some powered riding toys for my kids. I looked at several units before I finally gave them a try. The first one I bought was a star wars atv purchased from Wal-Mart. The box cover didn't mention specifically, but the vehicle was directed power to only one rear drive. On our hard wood floors it would just spin in place. This toy was in the $100 price range. So I decided to ramp up the budget. The second unit was a chevy silverado unit that looked very nice on Costco's website. It also seemed to be powered by only one wheel, even though the manual said otherwise. The toy truck's electrical horn didn't work, so I may have just got a bad unit. This electric toy was just under $200. It was very nice looking and had the right dimensions for my daughter, so I was greatly disappointed when it didn't work out. So it seemed the choices between the sub $200 price range and the very expensive $500 electric vehicles were few and far between This vehicle was just a little over $200, and after some careful research I decided to get this ATV. So this riding toy has considerably more power. And it was purchased for my daughter that just turned three. The size and speed of the toy seems to be a bit much for her as she seems afraid to ride it, so take that into consideration if you are purchasing for a little one. The toy says for ages 3 and up. The vehicle has two speeds, and the extra speed burst can be activated by twisting the right handle bar grip. The extra speed throttle setting can be disconnected though, so it can run at the slower speed for smaller kids. The lower speed is still fairly fast compared to the other electric toys. My other daughter who is 5 loves this toy, and had no problem jumping on and figuring out the controls. In it's current state, it is perfect for riding on the lawn. However if you transition to pavement, the plastic wheels make a racket I discovered that you can find places online that will sell you rubber covers that will provide more traction. You can also modify these toys to use real rubber wheels. The only other negative aspect is this toy is considerably larger than some of the other electric vehicles I looked at. The smaller toys can be ridden inside the house, while this one is really meant to be played with outdoors because of the size and speed. The build quality of this toy is superior to the ones I've tried and I believe it will provide years of fun for my kids. I highly recommend it. 96 of 100 people found the following review helpful. Our Son absolutly loves his Power Wheels By Adrian Michaud Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3QN1HYBJI4STB I bought this for our 23 month old Son. He's always carefully supervised and I prevent him from running into things since he's not really old enough to use this on his own but he absolutely loves it He'll drive it until the battery dies. He hasn't fully grasped the concept of steering but he does stop and uses forward/reverse to backup if he forgets to steer and comes too close to an object. 51 of 52 people found the following review helpful. Most helpful customer reviews 17 of 18 people found the following review helpful. Best Christmas Present So Far By M. Hill I bought this for my 5-year-old for Christmas over the Power Wheels since it has an 85 lb. weight limit versus 65 lbs. for the Power Wheels. That, coupled with the free extended 2 year warranty, and I was hooked. Assembly was a challenge since there are no written instructions and just pictures, but I did it by myself in about an hour without calling in a male to help me. We live in the city, so our initial terrain is sidewalks. After going the 2.5 mph speed so he could get the feel of it, we switched to 5 mph. Of course, he loved the faster speed and I got my exercise chasing him. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I know he won't outgrow this anytime soon even though he's already 4 feet tall. P.S. I also purchased the rubber bands from traction bands dot com to help extend the life of the wheels. P.P.S. The hand grips are a bit of a challenge to put on. A quick spray of some Pam cooking spray inside and they slid right on 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Peg Porego Polaris Outlaw 4 wheeler By Jenni Kennedy We got this for our almost 4 year old son for Christmas. He LOVES it and it's very easy for him to drive. Love that he can have a "4 wheeler" without it being one of those heavy, more dangerous models. I thought at 2.5 and 5 miles per hour that it might be kind of slow but it actually goes pretty fast. I also like the 85lb weight limit because he'll be able to use it for years! It easily goes up hills and seems very durable! 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Good Choice! By Luisa Reeves Santa had this sitting under the tree for my 4 year old. At first I thought he may be too big for it. Boy was I wrong, it was perfect for him. We took it up the street to show his best friend and she jumped on the back and they rode around, there was a little snow on the ground and it still did well. He shifted the gears and had a surprised look when it really picked up the speed He loves this toy. I sent pictures to friends of him and his best friend riding in the snow and everyone thought it was a real gas 4 wheeler. Great toy for the money! I did go out and purchase a skateboard type helmet for him, I would recommend one because it does go pretty fast! I also was able to assemble this myself with no problems, just follow step by step. :) See all 26 customer reviews....

The toddler rides all over the house and it works perfectly due to the small size. The baby is able to sit on the car and make it go but hasn't figured out the steering. My only complaint is that the tire leave HORRIBLE black streaks in our kitchen. I tried scrubbing them but there is still a faint line which will hopefully fade over time. Some faint black marks are worth all of the enjoyment my kids get out of this toy 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Terrible, Flips over! By A. Zahorik Cute as can be but a terrible hazard! I have a pretty tough kid but this toy has him beat. It flips over backwards super fast. If you get the front wheels up at all the rear wheel drive sends this quad over leaving your kid on his back. This happens if he is trying to roll over anything larger than a rock, from cement to grass or if he just runs into something stopping him. He doesn't ride it very much cause of this, he is kinda scared of it. regret this buy. :( See all 3 customer reviews....

So the look and feel is somewhat more sophisicated. It has decent power. It is also quite tolerant to different road surface. It fits 2 small toddlers or 1 7 yr old (the product only mentioned 3 yr+, 130 lb max) The smaller shipping cartoon means the reduced shipping cost is at the expense of more parts to assemble. Compare to some other cars in this category, this one takes much more time to assemble. The manual is reasonably clear. The package comes with enough spare parts for you to goof a few times. However, one unexcusable goof is by the maker. One of the rear-wheel gear connectors came loose during shipping. If you snap it the way the alignments indicated - kaboom - one wheel would go forward and one would go backward, and you won't find out until after *EVERYTHING* is assembled. It took me another hour to undo half the steps to correct it So....make sure you test the rear gears first. The stickers are plastic kind - rather delicate but at least water-proof. Just peel it off very slowly. Overall, pricy compared to the Hummers and Jeep. But it's an Mercedes. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Most helpful customer reviews 130 of 133 people found the following review helpful. Bad start, great finish..................... By Anthony This is for everyone who gave this quad a bad review because the charge does not last more then five minutes or less. I purchased this dirt quad for my 8-year-old son and like some of you I was quite disappointed with the quad's charge longevity. The quad did not last five minutes before my son was wheeling it back into the garage for a charge, and it was brand new! At first I thought like the rest of you who experienced this same problem, "It was just an expensive piece of junk". But I noticed when the battery went dead and we put it on charge the light on the charger would go from red to green in just a few minutes, a lot less then the recommended charge time. So I figured maybe the charger was no good. Luckily we also own the Razor go-cart, which uses the same charger and always worked great. So I swapped out the chargers but the go-cart still charged fine And the charger on the quad still turned from red to green in just a few minutes and still died out fast. So I went to Razor's website and contacted their customer support. They told me the problem sounded like a bad battery and explained that even though the quad is brand new it may have been sitting around in a warehouse for months, even years with the battery connected. If the battery goes a long time connected to the ATV and never on charge, the battery will eventually go bad. The battery should always stay on charge even when not used for long periods of time. They were right! They sent me a brand new battery free of charge, after I sent them a copy of my receipt proving I bought the quad within the warranty period, less then 90 days. As soon as we receive the battery, I switched it off and all I can say is "what a change!" The quad is strong as can be and I can honestly say that even running up and down hills on rocky terrain dirt quad goods well past 30 minutes, as long as my son keeps And it still shows a full charge on power indicator when he is finished. It's like a totally different machine from the one we started out with. So to anyone here who think they got stuck with a piece of junk, go directly to the Razor before your 90 day warranty expires and submit your complaint. They have an excellent customer service and will contact you within 24 hours, you will not be sorry. I am very pleased with the Razor and even more pleased whenever I see my son's face is now on his new dirt quad. 35 of 36 people found the following review helpful. Impressed by Jan Klier, I've seen my share of toys, and was favorably impressed with the quality of this product. It has a solid frame, suspension, tire pressure regularly I am not afraid that will break after a few days of using it, since it got the rough use of children in this age. I took it for a short test in itself, and the engine was strong enough to move upwards and adults. The company takes a little longer and you will be home to receive it. But it takes two people to the box it comes in the elevator, it's worth the convenience of home delivery. I think the only design change I might see is a reverse mode. The motor controller allows only forward, as if you were confined space turnaround can be difficult. But it is a smaller problem generally. Update (28.05): This ATV has seen a lot of use over the past few weeks, including many slide-wheel stunts, etc. After a very heavy law it does not take more of a blown fuse and control. The only thing that is very useful is that Razor will actually sell repair parts for reasonable prices on their site, more can be said about many other products, so if it is break, n ' is not necessarily dedicated to the trash pile. 26 of 27 people found this review helpful.
