It was left on the bottom of the stairs of an accident and again. Withstands the weight of older children who should not be riding too. My son is one of those too (boy version) that is over 2 years and it still works, even if the battery does not hold a charge very well. And 'super cute, durable and just the right size for her, but her road for about five minutes and now will not be on it.
