It was left on the bottom of the stairs of an accident and again. Withstands the weight of older children who should not be riding too. My son is one of those too (boy version) that is over 2 years and it still works, even if the battery does not hold a charge very well. And 'super cute, durable and just the right size for her, but her road for about five minutes and now will not be on it. I think because she continued to press the switch to "ON" position by holding it in "on" and would put it back and forth that he may be afraid. By JA baba I originally wanted to buy the Power Wheels Dora, but it seemed that would not come before my daughter's birthday, so I canceled my first order. Then I saw that Buzz Light year Power Wheels and knew more suited to a boy, but my daughter loves Buzz! On the night of his second birthday we came home from Chuck E. Cheese and I had configured with the Quad a balloon in the room and she screamed and ran to him. She sat there and jumped a little and saw the little red button. Once they pushed the quad and fell forward, she was initially afraid of my niece, who 14 years or older in order to show her how fun it was and drove. When my wife was driving the quad and let me just say this little thing is a toy fort. Now my daughter has a blast with this little quad and soon I will upgrade to a larger one once they get bored. Much like the car. More like a battery "Marine" as it is sealed and can "operate" sideways, even upside down (for short periods). (Do not put it so straight up if other)! Lead-acid batteries have no memory! And ... deliver their longevity, are kept fully charged all the time! It is not to say about his or her office (which can deform lead plates inside the battery)! If you read the manual for battery-operated toys were bought .... It will tell you to recharge after each use for 18 hours and no more than 36th But, people just use their heads, and adjust the time. If you have fully charged and your son is working for a few minutes ... The quiet for a second run without recharging. But ... if 20 or 30 minutes or more, put it in the charger, maybe 8 to 10 hours to have handled some hills, or put a little extra effort in driving for a while? Use your head and adjust the load, with a little common sense and logic. The standard charger you get is a "trickle charger". Trickle charge is the least invasive way to charge a battery. Fast chargers reduce battery life. Lead acid batteries which is called "sulfate" when they are in a condition of low or high. If you leave one of these batteries for free all of them for a long period of time ... he will destroy. Short periods of discharge time is shortened life. If ever you're not using it for a while .... Fully charge the battery and recharges every month. All this said .... It's a good idea to make a reinforcement (drip) Battery own vehicles, at least once a year to extend its life. Especially if you do a lot of stop and start driving! Highway, most of your driving does not extend much needed after a long drive! But, trying to help .... Dietrich This is a replacement for the original battery that came with the original Power Wheels. 3 Power Wheels child parts so you can imagine how much use it gets. With my new replacement battery will be some days with moderate use before needing to be recharged. My children have enjoyed in recent years, a new battery will last all day, and I have hills. For the third season of the load will not be for long. The quickest way to ruin lead-acid batteries is to discharge them deeply and let them "dead" for a long period of time. When you download, there is a chemical change in the positive battery plates. Change from lead oxide when charged to lead sulfate when discharged. If they remain in the state of sulphate of lead for a few days, some part of the plate does not return to lead oxide when the battery is recharged. If the battery is longer, a larger amount of the positive plate will remain lead sulfate. The dishes that become parts of "sulfate" do not store energy. Batteries that are deeply discharged and then charged partially on a regular basis can fail in less than a year, 17 of 17 people found this review helpful. I should have listened to comments and not bought by J. Clarke was a bust. I bought this to replace the original battery that came with the Barbie Jeep for my daughter. The original battery lasted about three years and worked very well before you run out of juice. I have read several comments saying that I worry about battery replacement is cut very, very quickly. Well, that's exactly what happened to me. . . I have read and followed the instructions carefully, in terms of how long the initial charge and then charge as well. We have about three charges out of it, and that's it. I ended up pulling the jeep, and I take this battery and original battery in the trash, where they have a battery recycling center. Amazon can not take this product again. . because it is a hazardous substance (acid), but congratulations to them, they immediately credited my purchase I do not know what to say about this. . . Batteries are batteries can be a shelf of old, it would be something wrong with our Jeep. . . BUT. . . if it can happen to me (and others I've read about), it can happen to you.
